Tuning System (ESX/EXM) - Professional Vehicle Customization System
Transform your server's vehicle customization experience with this comprehensive tuning system designed specifically for ESX and EXM frameworks. With 137 servers already using this system, it's proven to deliver exactly what players want - deep vehicle modification options that go way beyond standard tuning scripts. Players can modify their cars to the finest detail, or pay mechanics to do it for them, creating authentic roleplay opportunities while giving everyone the freedom to personalize their rides.
What's Included
This isn't your typical tuning script with basic engine and color options. You're getting a complete vehicle modification system that includes DLC wheels integration, full RGB color customization, xenon lighting options, interior detailing, extra vehicle components, and dozens of modification categories that most scripts don't even touch. The system integrates seamlessly with ESX society mechanics, allowing you to set up professional tuning shops with employee discounts and business management features.
Key Features
- DLC Wheels Support - Access to all DLC wheel packs, not just base game options, giving players hundreds of wheel choices instead of the standard limited selection
- RGB Color System - Full RGB color picker for primary, secondary, and pearlescent colors - players can create any color combination imaginable instead of being limited to preset colors
- Xenon Lights - Complete xenon headlight customization with color options, a feature many tuning scripts overlook entirely
- Interior Modifications - Dashboard colors, seat details, and interior trim options that let players customize what they see inside the vehicle
- Extra Options - Vehicle-specific extras like spoilers, skirts, hoods, and body kits that aren't available in standard modification menus
- Society Discount System - Configurable employee discount system for mechanics who work at tuning shops, rewarding your staff and creating business value
- Flexible Pricing - Set different prices for each modification category, or allow free modifications for testing and events
- Full Configuration - Extensive config.lua with options for prices, society integration, allowed modifications, and shop locations
Perfect For
- Servers wanting to offer premium vehicle customization beyond basic tuning shops
- Roleplay communities with dedicated mechanic jobs and tuning businesses
- Car enthusiast servers where vehicle appearance and personalization matter
- Communities wanting to create revenue streams through tuning shop businesses
- Servers looking to differentiate themselves with deeper modification options
How It Works
Players visit configured tuning locations (you set these up in the config) and interact with the tuning marker. They're presented with a comprehensive menu showing all available modifications for their specific vehicle. Each category - engine, brakes, transmission, suspension, armor, turbo, wheels, colors, xenons, extras, and more - can be browsed and previewed before purchase. If you've set up society integration, mechanics can apply discounted modifications, or you can configure it for players to self-serve and pay directly. The system saves all modifications to the vehicle, so customizations persist between sessions.
Real-World Use Cases
Picture a player who just bought their dream car and wants to make it truly unique. They drive to the tuning shop, where a mechanic helps them select performance upgrades - turbo, engine level 4, competition suspension. Then they move to cosmetics: choosing custom DLC wheels, setting the body color to a specific shade of metallic purple using RGB sliders, adding xenon headlights with ice blue tint, and selecting interior dashboard colors that match. Another scenario: a tuning shop owner running a business with three employee mechanics, each getting a 15% society discount they can pass to customers as a competitive advantage. Or consider a car meet event where the server allows free tuning for the day, and players spend hours perfecting their builds to show off.

- Add the resource to your server.cfg file
- Restart your server and test all modification categories to ensure everything works
- Adjust prices based on your server's economy and player feedback

What Makes It Stand Out
Most tuning scripts give you the basics - engine, transmission, wheels, colors. This system goes several levels deeper. DLC wheels alone set it apart because players get access to wheel packs that came with GTA Online updates, not just the limited base game selection. The RGB color system means players can match their vehicle to exact hex codes or create custom color combinations that simply aren't possible with preset color menus. Interior modifications let players customize dashboard and seat colors, something many don't even know is possible. The xenon light customization with color options adds another layer of personalization. And the society discount system creates real business value for tuning shops - employees get discounts they can use as competitive pricing, making the mechanic job more valuable and tuning shops actual businesses rather than just script locations.
Configuration Notes
The config.lua is designed to be edited to match your server's needs. You'll want to adjust several key settings: modification prices for each category (engine, turbo, wheels, etc.), society integration settings including discount percentages for employees, tuning shop locations and marker coordinates, and which modification categories are enabled or disabled. The script comes with sensible defaults, but every server's economy is different, so plan to spend 15-20 minutes configuring prices that make sense for your community.
