Getting Started
How to create an account
Click the "Sign In" button in the top navigation bar and choose "Sign Up" to create a new account. You can register with your email address or use Google/Discord for quick sign-up. Once registered, you can purchase mods, track orders, and manage your downloads from your account dashboard.
How to browse and find mods
Use the Shop page to browse premium FiveM mods or visit Free Mods for community scripts. You can filter by category, framework compatibility (ESX, QBCore, QBox), and sort by newest, most popular, or price. The search bar at the top lets you find specific mods by name or keyword.
Understanding FiveM frameworks (ESX, QBCore, QBox)
FiveM servers use different frameworks to manage game mechanics. ESX is the most established framework with the largest ecosystem. QBCore is a modern alternative focused on performance and clean code. QBox is the newest framework, building on QBCore with additional improvements. Make sure to check which framework your server uses before purchasing a mod.
Purchases & Payments
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Klarna, and Bancontact through Stripe.
How to apply promo codes
During checkout, look for the "Promo Code" field on the payment page. Enter your code and click "Apply" to see the discount reflected in your order total. Promo codes cannot be combined and are subject to expiration dates and usage limits.
Order confirmation and receipts
After a successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email with your receipt and download links. You can also find all your orders and receipts in your account dashboard under "Orders". If you checked out as a guest, the confirmation email contains a secure download link.
Payment failed — what to do
If your payment fails, first verify that your card details are correct and that you have sufficient funds. Try using a different payment method or browser. If the issue persists, contact your bank to ensure they are not blocking the transaction.
Downloads & Installation
How to download purchased mods
After purchase, you can download your mods from the order confirmation email or from your account dashboard under "Orders". Click the download button next to any purchased mod to get the latest version. Your download links do not expire and you can re-download at any time.
How to download free mods
Free mods are available through our Linkvertise-powered download system. Click the download button on any free mod page, complete the short link steps, and your download will begin automatically. This process helps support the creators who share their work for free.
Guest downloads (without account)
If you purchased as a guest, you will receive a secure download link via email. This link contains a unique token that grants access to your files. We recommend creating an account to keep all your purchases organized and accessible from one place.
How to install FiveM scripts on your server
Extract the downloaded ZIP file into your server's "resources" folder. Add "ensure resource_name" to your server.cfg file (replace "resource_name" with the folder name). Restart your server or use the "refresh" and "ensure" commands in the server console. Check the included README file for any additional setup steps.
Files missing or corrupted
If your download appears incomplete or corrupted, try downloading the file again from your account dashboard. Ensure your browser is not blocking the download and that you have enough disk space. If the problem persists, contact our support team with your order number and we will help resolve the issue.
Account & Orders
Managing your account settings
Visit your account dashboard to update your profile information, email preferences, and notification settings. You can also manage your connected sign-in methods (email, Google, Discord) and update your password from the account settings page.
Viewing order history
All your past orders are available in your account dashboard under "Orders". Each order shows the purchase date, items, payment amount, and download links. You can filter orders by date or search for specific purchases.
Recover downloads (lost access)
If you have lost access to your downloads, sign in to your account and visit the Orders section — all your purchases are still available for download. If you purchased as a guest, use the email search on the order lookup page or contact support with the email address you used during checkout.
Wishlist management
Add mods to your wishlist by clicking the heart icon on any product page. View and manage your wishlist from your account dashboard. We will notify you when wishlisted items go on sale or have a price drop, so you never miss a deal.
Refunds & Issues
Refund policy overview
We offer refunds for digital products within 14 days of purchase if the mod does not work as described and cannot be fixed. Since digital products can be copied, refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support with your order details and a description of the issue.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact our support team via the Contact page with your order number, email address, and a detailed description of the problem. Include screenshots or error logs if possible. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24-48 hours.
Reporting a broken mod
If a mod is not working correctly, first check that it is compatible with your server's framework and that you followed the installation instructions. If the issue persists, contact support with your order number, server framework (ESX/QBCore/QBox), and any error messages from your server console.
Creator Program
How to become a creator
Visit the "Become a Creator" page to apply for the VertexMods Creator Program. Fill out the application with your experience, portfolio, and the types of mods you plan to sell. Our team reviews applications within a few business days and will notify you once approved.
Submitting mods for review
Once approved as a creator, use the Creator Dashboard to submit your mods. Upload your files, add a title, description, screenshots, and set your price. Each submission goes through a quality review by our team before being published to ensure it meets our marketplace standards.
Earnings and payouts (70/30 split)
Creators earn 70% of each sale, with VertexMods retaining 30% for platform fees, payment processing, and infrastructure. You can track your earnings in the Creator Dashboard and request a payout once your balance reaches the minimum threshold of €50. Payouts are processed via PayPal or Stripe Connect.
