This is a deployable decontamination tent system designed for serious emergency roleplay scenarios. Think chemical spills, hazmat situations, or any scene where your fire department, police, or EMS teams need to properly decontaminate people who've been exposed to dangerous materials. It's modeled after real-life decontamination procedures used by actual emergency services, which adds a layer of realism you don't usually see in FiveM resources.
You get a complete deployable tent system with functional showers, setup/removal commands, and realistic activation mechanics. The tent prop itself is high-quality and accurately represents real decontamination equipment. When deployed, players can walk up and activate the showers with a simple keypress (default E key, fully configurable). The whole system is designed for quick deployment during active scenarios - your hazmat teams can set up in seconds when they arrive on scene.
When your emergency teams respond to a hazmat scene, they use /decontent setup to deploy the tent directly in front of them. The tent appears exactly where you're facing, making placement intuitive during active situations. Victims or contaminated personnel walk close to the tent and press the configured key to activate the showers. The system shows helpful on-screen prompts so players know when they're in range. When the scene wraps up, anyone can use /decontent remove to pack up the nearest tent - but you can't remove it while the showers are running, which prevents accidental cleanup during active decontamination.
/decontent setup and /decontent removeensure decontamination-tent to your server.cfg/decontent setup to test deployment/decontent setup - Deploys a decontamination tent in front of your character. The tent appears exactly where you're facing, making placement intuitive even during chaotic scenes.
/decontent remove - Removes the nearest decontamination tent. This works regardless of who placed it, which is helpful when scenes end and different personnel are handling cleanup. Important: You can't remove a tent while the showers are active - they must be turned off first to prevent accidents.
The config file lets you adjust the maximum distance for activating showers (how close players need to be to the tent) and change the keybind from the default E to whatever fits your server's control scheme. This is especially useful if you're running other scripts that use E and need to avoid conflicts. You can also set job restrictions so only fire department, EMS, or police can deploy tents if you want more controlled usage.
Most FiveM props are just static decoration, but this actually functions like the real equipment it represents. The shower toggle system means it's not just visual - players interact with it during roleplay. The safety feature preventing removal while showers are active is a small detail that prevents stupid accidents during active scenes. It's also genuinely useful for serious roleplay rather than being decorative fluff. When your server does a chemical spill event or industrial accident scenario, having proper decontamination equipment makes the whole scene feel more authentic and gives emergency services actual procedures to follow.
In real-world hazmat response, decontamination is a critical step that can't be skipped. Victims exposed to chemicals need to go through decontamination before transport to hospitals or release. This script lets you replicate that procedure accurately - your emergency teams can follow realistic protocols instead of just handwaving contamination away. It elevates the quality of your emergency roleplay from we pretend stuff happened to we actually have the equipment and procedures to handle this properly.
